在全球化和区域经济一体化趋势的推动下，近年来，东北亚各国间的经济合作取得长足进展。然而在机制建设方面，该地区仍远远落后于欧盟、北美自贸区和东盟。本文首先从贸易、投资、次区域合作等方面描述了东北亚区域合作的现状，进而对影响区域合作机制建设进程的诸多因素进行分析，其中包括地缘政治下的大国博弈、大国与小国集团间实力的高度不对称、区域合作机制化的成本和收益等。基于以上分析，本文还对东北亚区域经济合作的现实途径和发展趋势进行了展望。
In the trend of globalization and regional economic integration，economic cooperation in Northeast Asia has obtained great progress. However，in terms of mechanism building，Northeast Asia still lags behind EU，NAFTA and ASEAN. This paper describes the status quo of regional cooperation in Northeast Asia in fields of trade，investment and sub-regional cooperation. Furthermore，it analyzes factors that affect the formation of regional cooperation mechanism，including geopolitical game among powers，high asymmetry between groups of big and small countries，costs and benefits of regional cooperation institutionalization. Based on the above analysis，this paper provides prospects for future paths and trend of regional cooperation in Northeast Asia.
