On May 2007，President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono conducted the second cabinet reshuffle of his administration. The reshuffle was made under the pressures of the media and political parties. The aim was to raise the cabinet’s efficiency and accelerate the economic rehabilitation.Meanwhile，the reshuffle has also become a political momentum for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in recovering the declining reputation of the government and paving the way for the coming general election in 2009.
