2009年，随着国际政治、经济形势的变动，美国对中东政策的调整，中东形势也相应发生变化，奥巴马对中东政策备受瞩目。经济方面，金融危机对中东经济的影响逐渐显现，学者对此的关注度较高，研究也较充分。尽管伊拉克、伊朗等问题依旧，但相关著述较前有所减少，对宗教、民族、中东国家核政策等问题的研究进一步深入。中东现代化和中东社会思潮依然是被学者重视的研究课题。
With the change of international politics and economy，and in corresponding with the adjustment of U.S middle east policy in 2009，the situation of middle east also altered.Obama’s Middle east policy became the hotspot.On economy，the influence of financial crisis on middle east appears gradually and has been paid close attention by scholars，a couple of books and thesis have been published.Although Iraq and Iran issues still remain unresolved，the research paper on such issues reduced comparing with last year，more research on religion、nation、nuclear policy has been done.Middle East modernization and social thoughts still to be close followed by researchers.
