Iran has abundant resources and a relatively diversified industrial structure. The market-oriented domestic economic adjustment has started but is proceeding slowly. Currently，the economic performance is mainly influenced by the international oil price level and geo-political factors. Despite of the trouble with nuclear issue，Iran has achieved moderate growth for many years. The status of balance of payments is fairly good and the investment environment tends to be improved. Iran is undergoing a period of opportunities for economic development.
