This report first describes the theoretical basis and practical needs of the Expo to help the high-quality development of the “the Belt and Road” trade. Then，based on the data，this paper discusses the current trade situation between China and the countries jointly building the “the Belt and Road” from the aspects of import and export trade scale，import and export product structure，and import and export regional distribution. Then，from the aspects of promoting trade facilitation，promoting mutual benefit and reciprocity，promoting the deep integration of the industrial chain supply chain，and digital enabling trade，we will analyze the achievements of the Expo in helping the high-quality development of the “the Belt and Road” trade，and analyze the four challenges of economic downturn and the spread of global trade protectionism. Finally，countermeasures are proposed from optimizing the functions of the CIIE platform，improving the trade promotion mechanism，and strengthening policy coordination.
