As a leading region in China’s export-oriented economic development，the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has demonstrated strong resilience in foreign trade despite facing an increasingly complex and challenging international trade environment in recent years. Continuing to elevate the quality and level of foreign trade is a necessary requirement for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to serve as a demonstration zone for high-quality development and a strategic hub for the “dual circulation” development pattern. To this end，the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area should further strengthen regional and cross-border cooperation，optimize the structure of foreign trade，and leverage its locational advantages. It is essential to promote systematic and coordinated development across the industrial，supply，innovation，and service chains associated with foreign trade. Enhancing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s capacity for high-quality allocation of domestic and international resources across time and space will not only support the area’s role as a model of Chinese modernization and a world-class city cluster，but also enable the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to make greater contributions to improving China’s openness and achieving high-quality development through expanded international cooperation.
