在自然因素和人类活动的双重影响下，蒙古国的生态环境面临诸多风险。土地荒漠化程度加深、极端天气和自然灾害频发，空气、河流不同程度受到污染等问题凸显，生态系统平衡受到威胁。蒙古国政府针对一系列的生态环境问题，制订并实施防治荒漠化计划和具体措施；对草场采取共同管理模式，降低草场生态承载力；提出绿色发展复兴政策，实施“十亿棵树”计划，发展清洁能源；划定禁止矿业开采区域，保护生态环境；进一步加强与国际组织、中国等方面的生态合作。
Under the dual influence of natural factors and human activities，Mongolia’s ecological environment is facing many risks. Grassland desertification，wind erosion and desertification，water and soil loss are worsening，extreme weather and natural disasters are frequent，and air pollution is serious. The ecosystem balance is threatened. Mongolia has strengthened ecological environment governance. It has carried out ecological environment governance with international organizations and some countries，such as desertification control，vegetation restoration in mining areas and air pollution. Facing the ecological environment trend，Mongolia urgently needs to further enhance its awareness of environmental protection and strengthen cooperation in ecological governance.
