This paper describes the economic measures taken by governments around the world to reduce the risk of the New Crown epidemic，the Mongolian government’s response to the hazards of the spread of the New Crown epidemic，and the effectiveness of the policy measures taken to protect the population from the New Crown virus as well as to make up for the economic losses caused by the closure and control. The impact of the New Crown epidemic on the decline in Mongolia’s key macroeconomic indicators is analyzed，including the decline in economic growth to its lowest level for the first time since 1990，the decline in the real economy，i.e.，the manufacturing sector，the recovery of the manufacturing，trade，and service sectors after the lifting of the stringent outbreak closure in June 2021，the reasons for the decrease in total revenues and the increase in expenditures of the state budget，and the reasons for the “Ten Trillion Tugrik” program measures caused by the increase in money supply and the decrease in loans to residents and businesses，the impact of the decrease in exports of copper concentrates and coal on the decline in foreign trade imports and exports，and other circumstances.
