欧洲政治正处于传统政党和新兴政党、右翼和中左翼政党对峙的动荡变革期。2024年欧盟及欧洲各国议会选举表明，中右翼党团和极右翼党团势力持续增强，中间派政党生存空间受到挤压，政党格局碎片化和“右转”趋势常态化更加明显。经济和财政困境、政府公信力不足、选民失望和不满情绪积累、民粹主义持续冲击、美国政府换届等因素限制欧洲中左翼政党的话语权和号召力。在欧洲政治生态持续变动、地缘政治冲突日益严重、各国政治竞争日趋激烈的大背景下，欧洲在对外关系中扮演的角色也将持续变化。
European politics is currently in a period of tumultuous transformation where traditional and emerging parties，as well as right-wing and center-left parties，confront each other. The 2024 parliamentary elections of the European Union and other European countries show that the power of center-right and far-right party groups continues to grow，the survival space of centrist parties is being squeezed，and the fragmentation of the party structure and the trend of “rightward shift” have become more obvious as a norm. Economic and fiscal difficulties，insufficient government credibility，accumulation of voters’ disappointment and dissatisfaction，continuous impact of populism，and the change of the US government and other factors have limited the voice and appeal of the center-left political parties in Europe. Against the backdrop of the continuous changes in the European political ecosystem，the increasingly serious geopolitical conflicts and the increasingly fierce political competition among countries，the role that Europe plays in its foreign relations will also continue to change.
