In 2023，Vietnam’s digital economy has been the fastest-growing in Southeast Asia for two consecutive years. The increasing digitalization of various sectors of Vietnam’s economy，especially the service industry，made significant contribution to the overall economic growth. Vietnam’s e-commerce grew strongly，with consumers’ increasing demand for online shopping；Vietnam accelerated the development of 5G technology and supported the development of digital technology enterprises and information technology parks；focused on cultivating digital talents and made great progress in the digital technology industry；steadily advanced the national digital transformation，as well as made significant progress in the construction of digital government，digital infrastructure，digital platforms and databases；and continuously strengthened the international digital economic exchanges and cooperation.
