2023年，是越南共产党第十三届中央委员会任期的中期之年，也是贯彻落实越共十三大决议精神承上启下的关键之年。在越共中央委员会和总书记阮富仲的领导下，越南政治、经济与社会保持平稳发展势头。越共继续贯彻落实越共十三大精神，相继召开十三届七中、八中全会和中央特别会议，引领越南政治、经济社会发展，同时启动越共十四大筹备工作。越南第十五届国会召开第五、六次会议及特别会议，推进立法、监督工作，继续推进社会主义法治国家建设。越共领导下的反腐败斗争持续发力，取得新的进展。越共高度重视党员和干部队伍的整顿工作，继续推进党建工作，高度重视意识形态工作，维护党的思想基础，壮大主流意识形态。
2023 was the mid-term year of the 13th Central Committee of the CPV，and also a critical year for implementing the spirit of the 13th National Congress of the CPV. Under the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPV and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong，Vietnam’s political，economic and social situation has maintained a steady momentum of development. The CPV continued to implement the spirit of the 13th National Congress of the CPV，and successively held the Seventh and Eighth Plenum of the 13th Central Party Committee and the Special Session of the Central Committee to lead Vietnam’s political，economic and social development，and at the same time began to prepare for the 14th National Congress of the CPV. The 15th National Assembly of Vietnam convened its 5th and 6th sessions as well as special sessions to promote legislation and supervision，and continue to promote the construction of a socialist legal state. The CPV has continued to fight against corruption and achieved new progress. The CPV attached great importance to the reorganization of Party members and officials，continued to promote Party building，gave particular attention to the ideological struggle，safeguarded the ideological foundation of Party，and strengthened the mainstream ideology.
