The key to rural revitalization lies in talent. In recent years，using the “One Hundred，Thousand and Ten Thousand Project” and “youth development-oriented city” as strategic fulcrums，Guangzhou has prioritized the introduction，cultivation，retention and employment of rural youth talents. By establishing a scientific talent management mechanism，forming a three-dimensional talent policy network，and launching diversified talent work projects，Guangzhou has cultivated various types of rural talents，and strives to build a large-scale，high-quality and optimized rural youth talent team. Through investigating the development experience of rural youth talents in agricultural districts of Guangzhou and the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region，this report analyzes the contemporary characteristics of Guangzhou youth’s development in rural areas，explores the factors affecting youth’s development in Guangzhou’s rural areas from multiple multiple dimensions including urban-rural，individual，family and culture，and then summarizes four main models of youth’s development in rural areas：technology-driven，market-driven，emotion-driven，and empowerment-driven. Addressing existing challenges，this study proposes strategies including enhancing strategic planning，implementing demand-oriented cultivation，optimizing structure and layout，emphasizing technological digitization to build platforms，improving factor resources，and improving public services，so as to help the development of Guangzhou youth talents in rural areas and promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
