Currently，the humanitarian assistance model with Chinese characteristics has gradually taken shape，and has become a crucial means of fulfilling the concept of community of shared future for humanity. It serves as an essential tool in major-country diplomacy and the new domestic development pattern，safeguarding China’s security and developmental interests in the new era. China’s humanitarian assistance takes various forms，including financial aid，in-kind supplies，emergency engineering，rescue teams，emergency medical teams，capacity building，and so on. It covers all stages of disaster prevention and preparedness，relief and response，as well as post-disaster recovery and reconstruction. China’s assistance is known for its swiftness，orderly organization，pragmatism，efficiency，wide coverage，and sustainability. Given the increasing international humanitarian needs，widening aid funding gaps，and the limitations of traditional humanitarian assistance methods of coping with the scale and urgency of existing crises，China is committed to leveraging its unique strengths in humanitarian assistance. This includes actively responding to international appeals，improving the humanitarian policy framework，strengthening coordination and management mechanisms，participating in international multilateral coordination efforts，encouraging the involvement of private stakeholders，and enhancing theoretical research. Through these efforts，China aims to continuously elevate the quality of its humanitarian assistance.
