Guangzhou has enhanced its global competitiveness through developing international communities，establishing an evolutionary “community-district” pathway that has achieved notable results in industrial upgrading，public service improvement，governance capacity building，and Sino-foreign cultural integration. The study recommends Guangzhou intensify efforts in strengthening top-level design，formulating comprehensive planning，establishing leading standards，promoting social participation，optimizing resource allocation，and polishing the city brand to further advance this initiative.
