From 2012 to 2023，from the perspective of production，Jiangmen’s total economic volume grew steadily，the per capita level increased significantly，and the industrial structure was continuously optimized. From the perspective of demand，the scale of demand such as consumption，investment and foreign trade continued to expand. From the perspective of income，the income of urban and rural residents，the profits of industrial and service enterprises and the general public budget revenue of the government increased significantly. From the perspective of prices，consumer prices and industrial producer ex-factory prices tended to stabilize amid fluctuations. Although Jiangmen is faced with challenges such as increasing downward pressure on economic growth and bottlenecks in industrial transformation，the full promotion of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area，the upgrading of the product structure of consumer central cities and the continuous development of industrial digitization also provide opportunities for Jiangmen to meet challenges and promote development. In the future，it should adhere to the strategy of “strengthening the city through industry”，promote the high-end，intelligent and green development of manufacturing，promote industrial transformation and upgrading，and enhance endogenous growth momentum. It should expand domestic demand by strengthening consumption stimulus policies，vigorously developing green consumption and deepening the development of rural markets. It should also optimize the investment structure and promote foreign trade growth by deepening economic and trade cooperation with countries along the “the Belt and Road Initiative”，focusing on investment in high-tech industries，infrastructure and social livelihood projects.
