Overseas students are a valuable resource of talents in China. In order to better understand the development of students studying abroad，MYCOS institute showed the employment status of the overseas returnees based on the survey data of overseas graduate students in 2014，2015 and 2016，compared and analyzed the data of domestic graduate students of the same years，including the returning trend of overseas students，the destination of overseas students and the quality of domestic employment，etc.. The research found that the return rate of overseas students tends to be flattening out in recent years. The trend of flowing to municipalities and sub-provincial cities is obvious after returning home. Most of the overseas students are employed in full-time jobs，and most of them are employed in private and foreign-funded enterprises. They are engaged in financial，information transmission/software and information technology service，and education industry. The proportion of self-employment is significantly higher than that of domestic graduate students. The employment quality of overseas students in 2016 has been improved compared with that of 2014. The salary level and employment satisfaction of overseas graduates three years after graduation are all higher than that of domestic graduate students in the same year.
