It is an essential means to enhance the international competitiveness of Guangzhou through telling a good story of its ecological conservation efforts to showcase it as an ecocity. Under the guidance of President Xi’s ecological conservation thoughts，Guangzhou has improved its top-level design of building an ecocity with more fruitful results in the practical achievements. As it has become a global consensus to protect the ecological environment，Guangzhou is facing many opportunities as well as challenges in shaping and promoting its ecocity image. This report suggests further exploring the unique ecological culture of Guangzhou，making good use of the city’s international cultural exchange platforms and foreigners，as well as powerful tools of videos and images，to jointly tell the story of Guangzhou’s ecological development，further shining the city image of a green and beautiful Guangzhou.
