Zhejiang Province has achieved remarkable progress in trade and investment cooperation with Africa in recent years. This report outlines the development trajectory of Zhejiang-Africa economic collaboration，analyzes current status，and provides an overview of trade scale/structure as well as investment sectors/projects. It highlights emerging characteristics in industrial cooperation，particularly breakthroughs in digital economy and green energy sectors，along with new advancements in traditional industries. The opening mechanism and platform services for Zhejiang-Africa economic and trade cooperation are bright points. The report lists typical cases of Zhejiang’s cooperation with Africa，such as Chint New Energy，Huayou Cobalt，and Leo Group. The report also identifies the challenges faced by Zhejiang Africa economic and trade cooperation，such as non-tariff barriers and value chain weaknesses；The triple risk overlay includes geopolitical，ESG compliance pressures，and insufficient localization capabilities；There is also intensified external competition etc. Correspondingly，the report proposes relevant measures and suggestions to better leverage the professional leadership role of the government and think tanks，digital empowerment，improve localization operation，reflects the functions of business associations，work in group and collaboration to go global together，enhances the level of financial supply chain services，and establishes risk prevention mechanisms.
