The cooperation in the textile and garment industries between China and Africa began in the 1980s and has gone through three stages：initial cooperation，rapid development，and in-depth cooperation. Driven by the “Belt and Road Initiative”，the cooperation between the two sides in areas such as trade，investment，and technological exchanges has been continuously deepened，achieving remarkable results. The trade scale has continued to grow. Chinese textiles have a high market share in the African market，and at the same time，African raw materials have also provided stable supply chain support for China. In terms of investment，Chinese enterprises have been actively setting up production bases in Africa，which has promoted local employment and technology transfer. The construction of industrial parks has been steadily advanced，forming an industrial cluster effect. Technological cooperation has been continuously deepened，promoting the technological progress of the textile industry in Africa. However，the cooperation also faces challenges such as an unstable investment environment and shortages of technology and talents. The report puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the high-quality development of the cooperation in the textile and garment industries between China and Africa from the government level，the enterprise level，and the industry association level，including policy coordination and docking，technological cooperation and innovation，and the establishment of trust mechanisms and platforms.
