Kenya is an economy with a relatively good economic foundation and a high degree of diversification in sub-Saharan Africa. Since the 21^st century，the Kenyan government has formulated and implemented long-term development plans and medium-term plans，and the economy has maintained rapid growth for many years. However，in recent years，it has encountered multiple shocks，and economic development faces some difficulties，especially the debt burden and fiscal deficit. China and Kenya have maintained long-term economic and trade relationship. Since 2013，the two countries have entered a stage of deepening comprehensive strategic cooperation. Chinese enterprises have been deeply engaged in sectors such as infrastructure，energy，manufacturing，and digital economy in Kenya. In response to the challenges faced by China-Kenya economic and trade cooperation，efforts should be made to continuously strengthen political mutual trust and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries，promote the optimization of trade structures，expand investment cooperation areas，diversify and broaden economic and trade collaboration models，and enhance the capacity to prevent and manage risks.
