Driven by global economic integration and the “Belt and Road” initiative，the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone，as a vital seaport gateway in the southwestern region，has made its port-adjacent industries a key driver of regional economic growth. Currently，although the Beibu Gulf has initially established a modern coastal industrial cluster，it still faces challenges such as industrial lag and incomplete industrial chains. This project delves into the development strategies and paths for the port-adjacent industries in the Beibu Gulf，aiming to promote the scale-up，high-quality，and robust development of these industries through measures such as clarifying development directions，strengthening infrastructure construction，fostering industrial agglomeration and collaborative innovation，enhancing industrial innovation capabilities，and strengthening international cooperation. Additionally，based on successful experiences from domestic and international port-adjacent industries，this project proposes short-term and medium-to long-term development paths，including accelerating the construction of key projects，improving industrial chains，promoting industrial transformation and upgrading，building distinctive industrial clusters，and cultivating new economic growth points. The ultimate goal is to achieve a virtuous cycle of “port logistics-port-adjacent industries-regional economy” and contribute to the sustained prosperity of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the transformation and upgrading of the regional economy.
