乌兹别克斯坦自独立后积极调整对世界形势的整体研判，将自身发展进步与融入现代国际体系密切联系。三十多年来，秉持开放、务实、互利、合作的外交理念，乌兹别克斯坦成为联合国、独联体、上海合作组织等40多个国际组织的正式成员，在涉及环境保护、跨国犯罪、网络安全、重大传染性疾病、打击恐怖主义等全球性问题上积极发声，成为现行国际体系的参与者、维护者和支持者。
Since its independence，Uzbekistan has actively adjusted its overall assessment of the world situation and closely linked its own development and progress with its integration into the modern international system. Over the past thirty years，Uzbekistan has adhered to the diplomatic concepts of openness，pragmatism，mutual benefit，and cooperation and has become a formal member of more than 40 international organizations such as the United Nations，the Commonwealth of Independent States，and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Uzbekistan has actively spoken out on global issues such as security，major infectious diseases，and combating terrorism，and has become a participant，defender and supporter of the current international system.
