The years 2022-2023 are crucial for the reform and opening-up of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev，the Government and people of Uzbekistan have weathered the difficult period of the COVID-19 epidemic and entered a new phase of development. The domestic political situation is generally stable；the economic situation is rebounding and improving；security governance has been effective；and multi-dimensional diplomatic relations are progressing steadily. In keeping with Mirziyoyev’s philosophy of governance，the people of the country are implementing the “Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy” on the road to building a “New Uzbekistan”，and are committed to sustainable economic development that will place them in the ranks of upper-middle-income countries.
