2023年是“一带一路”倡议提出十周年，中国与“21世纪海上丝绸之路”南线的太平洋岛国关系蓬勃发展。中国与太平洋岛国高层及各级别交往频繁，元首外交依然活跃。第三届中国-太平洋岛国政党对话会等活动成功举办，标志着双方对话合作机制日益完善。省市间的地方合作助推中国同太平洋岛国合作走向纵深。中国通过援建机场、公路、港口等，以互联互通方式促进太平洋岛国经济发展，同时在粮食安全、气候变化、可持续发展等涉及太平洋岛国长久发展的核心问题上积极推进合作。作为中国大周边外交的重要组成部分，未来双方将扩大合作领域，打造更加紧密的中国-太平洋岛国命运共同体。
In 2023，the Belt and Road Initiative（BRI）celebrated its 10th anniversary，highlighting the flourishing relations between China and the Pacific island Countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road’s southern route. The engagement has been characterized by dynamic high-level exchanges and vigorous head-of-state diplomacy. Events like the third China-Pacific Island Countries Political Leadership Dialogue underscore the maturation and enrichment of the dialogue and cooperation mechanisms between the two sides. Proactive local cooperation between Chinese provinces and municipalities has further deepened these relations. Through projects like airport，highway，and port construction，China has contributed significantly to the Pacific island countries’ economic development，while also focusing on pivotal long-term development issues such as food security，climate change，and sustainable growth. As a vital component of China’s broader diplomatic strategy，these efforts aim to forge a more integrated and mutually beneficial China-Pacific island countries community of shared future.
