In 2023,regional organizations led by the Pacific Community, the Pacific Islands Forum and the sub-regional organizations of the Melanesian Pioneer Group continued the Pacific Consensus model, increased the awareness of crisis, paid attention to regional security issues in the fields of environment, energy, health, food, population and biology, and took the Blue Pacific Continent 2050 Strategy as a breakthrough. Tough on climate change. However, due to the influence of history and geopolitics, the Pacific region has always been unable to step out of the shadow of great power competition, and the problem of poverty has not changed substantially. In addition, the scattered islands, small number of people on the islands, low network coverage, slow technological update and other practical problems make Pacific island countries more isolated in world trade activities. They still have a long way to go before they can give full play to the core role of regional organizations, keep warm together, and protect the blue Pacific Ocean.
