The relationship between the United States and Canada has developed steadily since 2023. High-level exchanges between the two countries are frequent. In the economic and trade fields，the United States and Canada continue to deepen cooperation in clean energy，key minerals and semiconductors. The United States and Canada are working together to enhance the infrastructure and combat capabilities of the North American Aerospace Defense Command to counter the “threats” from the air and sea from strategic adversaries. In order to cooperate with the U.S. military operations in the Indo-Pacific region，Canada has continuously increased its military force deployment and operations in the Indo-Pacific region. The cooperation between the United States and Canada in areas such as joint exercises，freedom of navigation，and counter-proliferation continues to deepen. The cooperation between the United States and Canada under the framework of the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” is，to a certain extent，a response to China’s growing influence in the Indo-Pacific region.
