This article analyzes the development of new Chinese immigrants in Singapore，sorts out the population development and immigration policy changes in Singapore，examines the basic situation and development of Chinese new immigrant associations in Singapore，and draws the following main conclusions. Since the 1990s，the population of new Chinese immigrants in Singapore has expanded，and their origins have radiated to all parts of China. The proportion of highly educated and high-tech population has increased，and the types of industries have become more diversified. Singapore’s population growth rate continues to decline，and manpower shortages are becoming increasingly serious. The Singapore government absorbs high-quality immigrants to make up for the population problem，to ensure the proportion of various ethnic groups and the development of high-tech industries. With the continuous influx of new immigrants，Singapore’s immigration policy has been adjusted in a timely manner，transitioning from a period of active immigration to a period of moderate immigration. In terms of social activities，associations organized or participated by new Chinese immigrants are flourishing，including comprehensive associations，regional associations and chambers of commerce，Singapore alumni associations of mainland universities. These new immigrant associations have a wide range of radiation and great influence. The academic qualifications and quality of the members are generally high，and the activities of the associations are diverse and rich. They have contributed to the growth and integration of new immigrants，the establishment of a transnational business network platform，and the promotion of friendly cultural exchanges between China and New Zealand. However，there are still certain problems in the development of associations，which require internal self-optimization and external communication integration.
