This report explores the role and significance of Sino-Foreign youth cultural exchanges in the development of Beijing as an international exchange center，analyzing the characteristics of Beijing’s youth participation in international exchanges in 2024-2025. It further summarizes the contributions of these exchanges to Beijing’s international influence，talent attraction，national security，technological innovation，and global governance. The report points out that Sino-Foreign youth cultural exchanges are an essential component of public diplomacy，characterized by soft diplomacy，digital communication，and innovation-driven engagement. These exchanges serve as key bridges for fostering people-to-people connectivity and deepening civilizational mutual learning. In 2024，Beijing witnessed an expansion in the scale of international youth exchanges，with increasingly diverse activities covering technology，culture，innovation and entrepreneurship，as well as public policy. Through policy support and platform-building，Beijing has enhanced its international appeal and the quality of exchanges. At the same time，key initiatives such as the “Five-Year 50，000 People” program and the Beijing Friendship Cities International Youth Exchange Camp have been instrumental in strengthening international cooperation and increasing Beijing’s voice in global governance.
