In 2023，Australia-India relations continued to develop，with frequent visits and exchanges between the two heads of state，deepening and solid economic relations，deepening cultural identity，and continuous expansion of security cooperation. “Indo-Pacific” regional cooperation plays an important role in Australia-India relations. The two countries actively participated in or strengthen the “Indo-Pacific” regional mechanism and enhanced their projection capabilities in the “Indo-Pacific” region. Since the upgrade of Australia-India relations was carried out in the context of the accelerated deployment of the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” and competition between China and the United States，Australia-India strategic cooperation has had a negative impact on China，causing China to face multiple competitive pressures and challenges.
