2023年，缅甸国家管理委员会发布新“四项社会目标”为缅甸文化建设指明了发展的目标和方向，缅甸文学领域的发展迎来新的机遇与挑战。在缅甸政府的主导与各级文学协会组织的配合下，全国性文学奖项评审与颁奖活动有序进行。此外，缅甸政府坚持举办传统文学活动，凝聚民族文学力量；鼓励借助现代技术促进语言文学发展；重视提升青年群体的文学素养，培养新生代作家；积极参与区域性文学活动，促进文学交流。
In 2023，Republic of the Union of Myanmar State Administration Council issued the new social objectives to point out the development goals and directions for Myanmar’s cultural construction. The development of Myanmar’s literary field ushered in new opportunities and challenges. Under the leadership of the Government of Myanmar and with the cooperation of literary associations and organizations at all levels，the evaluation and awarding of national literary prizes are carried out in an orderly manner. In addition，the Government of Myanmar insists on organizing traditional literary activities to consolidate the strength of national literature；promotes the development of language and literature with the help of modern technology；attaches importance to enhancing the literary literacy of young people and fostering the development of new-generation writers；and takes an active part in regional literary activities and promotes exchanges in the field of literature.
