叙利亚和中国都是具有悠久历史的文明古国。两国虽地缘位置相距遥远，但彼此交往的历史久远。自1956年中叙建交以来，直至2022年，两国关系历经考验，历久弥坚，结成了互信友好的战略伙伴关系。20世纪后半期至叙内战前，叙中关系得到了长足发展。内战时期，中国是向叙利亚提供人道主义援助最多的国家之一，是叙利亚可靠和重要的贸易伙伴。未来，叙利亚和中国将继续携手拓展合作空间，共谋发展，共同维护国际公平与正义，共同推动双边关系迈向更高水平。
Both Syria and China are civilized countries，boasting for their long histories. Although the two countries are geographically distant from each other，they have a long-standing interaction. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Syria and China in 1956 and up to 2022，the two countries have forged a strategic partnership of mutual trust and friendly relations，which has endured through trials and tribulations. During the second half of the 20th century and before the Syrian civil war，Sino-Syrian relations developed significantly. During the Syrian civil war，China was one of the countries that provided the most humanitarian aid to Syria and was its reliable and important trade partner so far. In the new historical period，Syria and China will continue to work together expanding their partnerships in a bid to maximally seek co-prosperity & reciprocity，jointly safeguard international equity and justice，and strenuously promote the two sides to a higher level.
