This article explores the international scientific cooperation model of Singapore’s research community and its implications for Beijing. It first provides an overview of the development of Singapore’s research community，highlighting how the country has successfully built a highly internationalized research cooperation network through measures such as formulating national science and technology development plans，concentrating research resource allocation，attracting international talent，and promoting the commercialization of research outcomes. The paper then analyzes Singapore’s flexible strategies in selecting international cooperation partners and adapting to changes in the global scientific cooperation environment. Finally，the paper suggests that Beijing could learn from Singapore’s experience by precisely selecting partners，flexibly adjusting cooperation strategies，and rationally allocating research resources to enhance its competitiveness and influence in international scientific cooperation.
