In 2023，Hainan Free Trade Port saw significant growth in various passenger and cargo transportation statistics，with cargo volume and cargo turnover reaching new historical highs. The opening of the fifth freedom of the air progressed steadily，and the air route network expanded and became denser. Cruise routes recovered rapidly，and the capacity of transportation hubs was significantly enhanced. However，the Hainan Free Trade Port still faces some difficulties in expanding cross-sea transportation capacity，optimizing regulatory models，improving hardware and software facilities，and enhancing route layouts. It is necessary to accelerate the construction of transportation infrastructure，optimize regulatory modes，expand air route networks，improve regulatory systems，and strengthen collaborative mechanisms to further promote facilitation and provide efficient transportation support for the development of the Hainan Free Trade Zone.
