根据《国家文物局办公室关于开展世界文化遗产保护状况评估工作的通知》（办保函〔2024〕153号），大运河遗产保护管理办公室具体负责2024年大运河世界文化遗产保护状况专题调研。调研报告显示大运河沿线的8个省（市）对大运河世界文化遗产保护工作高度重视，并且持续加大了工作力度。在保护管理、展示阐释、传承利用等方面，采取了一系列积极有效的措施，大运河世界文化遗产的保护管理状况整体较好。大运河遗产保护管理办公室始终围绕保护好、传承好、利用好大运河遗产的工作中心，在国家文物局以及中国文化遗产研究院的指导下，开展遗产调研、价值阐释、宣传研究、国际交流等一系列工作。
According to the Notice on Conducting the Assessment of the Protection Status of World Cultural Heritage Sites by the Office of the National Cultural Heritage Administration（B.B.H. [2024] No.153），the Grand Canal Heritage Protection and Management Office is responsible for the 2024 special research on the protection status of the Grand Canal. The research report indicates that the eight provinces（cities）along the Grand Canal place great importance on the protection of this World Heritage and have continuously strengthened their efforts. A series of positive and effective measures have been taken in areas such as heritage management，presentation and interpretation，and heritage utilization. Overall，the protection and management status of the Grand Canal World Heritage is in good condition. The Grand Canal Heritage Protection and Management Office continues to focus on protecting，inheriting，and utilizing the Grand Canal. Under the guidance of the National Cultural Heritage Administration（NCHA）and the China Academy of Cultural Heritage（CACH），the office has carried out research on heritage，value interpretation，public communication，and international exchanges，among other activities.
