Beijing’s international science and technology innovation center has made significant progress and achieved notable results，but there are also shortcomings：First，insufficient accumulation of basic research，with a lack ofhigh-quality research results. Second，shortage of high-level scientific and technological personnel，with a shortage in scientific and technological human resources. Third，the scientific and technological educational resources of universities are insufficient to support the innovative development of industries，and the cooperation between industry，academia，and research needs to be deepened. Fourth，the status of enterprises as the main innovation subject needs to be strengthened，and the level of technological innovation industrialization needs to be further improved. Fifth，there are still difficulties in coordinated innovation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region，which restrict the marketization and industrialization of innovation results. In the face of these challenges，the following suggestions are put forward：First，strengthen the national strategic scientific and technological forces，and strengthen the research on basic research and key core technologies. Second，coordinate the development of education，science，and talent as a whole，and build a high-level talent highland. Third，align with international standards to strengthen the innovation capacity of universities，and promote the transfer and application of university research results. Fourth，fully play the role of enterprises as the leading body of innovation alliances，and support leading enterprises in undertaking major scientific and technological tasks. Fifth，strengthen the coordinated layout of innovation resources，and form a closely cooperating Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional innovation community.
