In 2022，Romania experienced overall political stability despite some internal disputes. The economy maintained steady growth，although inflation remained high. In response to the energy crisis，the Romanian government implemented various measures to seek energy independence. In the realm of diplomacy and security，Romania actively engaged in diplomatic activities to safeguard regional security amidst the Russia-Ukraine Conflict. The country also provided assistance to Moldova in managing the crisis and pursuing European Union membership. However，Romania faced obstacles on its path to joining the Schengen Area. Key events in the social and cultural sphere included the release of preliminary results from a new census，the postponement of a new education law，notable achievements in international sporting events，and the provision of social assistance to Ukrainian refugees. In terms of bilateral relations between China and Romania，there were stable exchanges at the senior government level，resulting in new cooperation in the fields of economy，culture，and healthcare. Additionally，Romania facilitated the evacuation of Chinese nationals from Ukraine.
