Shanghai’s process of accelerating the development of new quality productive forces is also the process of accelerating the formation of competitive green productivity. Aiming at new tracks to promote the development of green and low-carbon industries，Shanghai has formed local enterprises with competitiveness and overseas layout capabilities in green emerging industries such as hydrogen energy，energy storage，drones and new energy. Shanghai has taken multiple measures to create an institutional environment to realize the efficient transformation of green technology innovation into large-scale production capacity，give full play to Shanghai’s strengths in the financial sector to provide financial support for green emerging industries，and promote multi-sectoral coordination in support of the development of green industries with a systemic concept. In the future，Shanghai also needs to strengthen the upstream and downstream infrastructure support and design programs for the development of green industries，continue to strengthen the cultivation，attraction and reserve of green and low-carbon talents，and take the green supply chain as a hand to seek an international leading position，and promote the extension of Shanghai’s green industry chain to the green market of the BRI countries to form an industry chain network with a wide coverage. This will help Shanghai’s green industrial chain extend to “the Belt and Road Initiative” green market and form a wide-coverage industrial chain network，making lasting contributions to the sustainable development and climate change actions of the countries who join in “the Belt and Road Initiative”.
