As a window for constructing a new development pattern，the China International Import Expo（CIIE）has played a positive role in promoting the upgrading and expansion of domestic consumption. This report analyzes the mechanism by which the CIIE promotes the upgrading and expansion of domestic consumption. It believes that the CIIE conforms to the trend of domestic consumption development，enriches consumer choices，expands domestic consumption，promotes the upgrading of domestic consumption，and drives the realization of quality，health，and green development. Finally，the report proposes suggestions for further improving the CIIE to meet the needs of a better life.
