This report first analyzes the inherent requirements for the benefit-sharing mechanism of the Belt and Road Initiative（BRI）the new era. It then examines the promotion effect of the CIIE on BRI benefit-sharing from three perspectives：promoting institutional opening up，driving economic and trade cooperation，and fostering technology spillover. Subsequently，through data analysis，it is evident that the CIIE has significantly enhanced trade connectivity between China and the countries participating in BRI and has bolstered investment cooperation with China’s partner countries. However，challenges persist due to the fluctuating trade policies of some countries towards China，the rise in international economic and trade disturbances，and the incomplete “Silk Road e-commerce” cooperation mechanism. The establishment of BRI benefit-sharing mechanism continues to face serious challenges. Moving forward，it is imperative to amplify the spillover effects of the CIIE，enhance the influence of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum，promote high-standard openness，and effectively leverage the synergy between “CIIE + Silk Road e-commerce” to further advance the BRI benefit-sharing through expanding openness.
