Denmark is one of the world’s leading low-carbon development countries. As early as the 1970s，Denmark actively explored and made remarkable achievements in reducing carbon emissions and developing renewable energy，with the ultimate goal of achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. In order to realize this goal，the Danish government has implemented a series of policy measures to improve energy efficiency，develop renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions，vigorously develop renewable energy，improve energy efficiency，and since 1990，greenhouse gas emissions have dropped by 39%. The Danish company Ørsted is a typical representative of Danish energy transition，helping Denmark to increase the proportion of renewable energy generation，reducing the dependence on fossil fuels，and promoting the transformation of Denmark’s energy structure. Denmark is located in the North Sea coastal area，rich in wind energy resources，marine wind power as a clean renewable energy，can effectively replace fossil fuel power generation，offshore wind power industry in Denmark’s energy structure transformation，greenhouse gas emission reduction plays an important role. In addition，Denmark attaches great importance to the research and development of low-carbon technologies，including renewable energy technologies，energy efficiency technologies and carbon capture and storage（CCS）technologies，etc. Low-carbon cooperation between China and Denmark has provided valuable experience for the two countries and even the world’s green and low-carbon cooperation and development.
