As the representatives of emerging economies and developing countries，BRICS have become the backbone of global South cooperation after more than ten years of development. In the context of turbulent changes in the international landscape，various uncertainties and destabilizing factors continue to emerge，and the BRICS are faced with complex challenges such as increasing external political interference，increasing difficulty in internal integration，and increasing internal and external linkage. In view of this，China should promote the BRICS countries to strengthen their integration with the global South from five aspects：first to strengthen the internal integration of BRICS countries through various ways of membership expansion；Second to explore more extensive external cooperation mechanisms；Third to improve the membership criteria of the New Development Bank and other mechanisms；Fourth to accelerate the development of BRICS practical cooperation mechanisms at different levels；Fifth to promote the spillover and promotion of BRICS consensus.
