新材料产业作为新兴产业之一，在“十四五”期间发展潜力巨大。河北省作为原材料大省，在高端合金材料、关键电子材料、高性能复合材料、先进工程塑料等领域取得一定的成绩，新材料产业规模持续扩大，政策体系不断完善。但仍存在一些制约新材料产业发展的问题，如技术创新能力弱、高水平人才缺乏、未形成专业化园区等。本报告从优化新材料产业布局、加快专业人才队伍建设、完善产业生态并打造专业化园区三方面提出河北省新材料产业发展建议。河北省要紧抓战略性新兴产业发展关键期这一机遇，立足产业基础和优势，加快推进全省新材料产业高质量发展，推动产业集群化、数字化、绿色化发展，完善产业链，推动河北省从材料大省向材料强省转变。
As one of the emerging industries，the new material industry has huge development potential during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Hebei Province，as a major province of raw materials，has made certain achievements in high-end iron-based materials，key electronic materials，high-performance composite materials，advanced engineering plastics and other aspects，and has cultivated a number of new materials with large market demand，The policy system is continuously being improved. The scale of the new material industry is increasing year by year. However，there are still some problems restricting the rapid development of the new material industry，such as weak technological innovation ability，lack of high-level talents，and low industrial competitiveness of industrial park. This study proposes suggestions for the development path of new material industry in Hebei Province from three as pects：optimizing the industrial layout，accelerating the construction of a professional talent team，and improving the industrial ecosystem.
