Digital twin is one of the key supporting technologies for digital transformation and has received attention from governments and enterprises of various countries in recent years. Globally，the United States is a leader in digital twin technology and application. This report explores the current development status and future trends of digital twins in the United States and outlines the wide application of digital twin technology in the United States，covering multiple key fields such as manufacturing，energy，and medical health. With the in-depth application of digital twin technology，the report also points out many current challenges，including the complexity of model construction，security and privacy risks，and high deployment costs. Finally，combined with the development experience of the United States，several suggestions are put forward for the development of digital twins in China，strengthening the role of policy support and guidance，attaching importance to the standardization of digital twins，and promoting research on key core technologies to cope with future technical challenges.
