梳理当代沙特阿拉伯对外关系本质上是一种“拼图”工作，是在史料和文献提供的片段之间根据相关性甚至是因果关系建立联系。本文以中文、英文研究成果为考察对象，从思想观念、核心政策和主要关系三个方面对当代沙特阿拉伯对外关系的主要学术成果进行全面评估，揭开沙特阿拉伯崛起之路“陌生”且“神秘”的面纱。当代沙特阿拉伯对外关系体现出较大的灵活性，同时也面临不小挑战，具体表现为沙特阿拉伯如何在外交政策困境下协调国内利益、安全需求和全球战略之间的关系。区域环境的复杂性和国家制度的特殊性，决定了沙特阿拉伯对外关系的演变不乏矛盾性。未来，沙特阿拉伯对外关系思想中的兼容性、对外关系政策中的统筹性、对外关系互动中的战略性等问题值得深入探究和观察。
A comprehensive review on contemporary Saudi Arabia’s foreign relations is essentially a “puzzle” job，which is to establish relationships between historical materials and fragments. Based on Chinese and English academic achievements of contemporary Saudi Arabia’s foreign relations，this article takes evaluates them from three aspects：ideology，core policies and main relations，trying to uncover the “strange” and “mysterious” veil on the road of Saudi Arabia’s rise. Contemporary Saudi Arabia’s foreign relations show great flexibility，but also face great challenges，which are embodied in how to coordinate the relations between domestic interests，security needs and global strategy. The complexity of the regional environment and the particularity of the state system determine that the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s foreign relations is not short of contradictions. In the future，the compatibility of Saudi Arabia’s foreign relations thought，the coordination of foreign relation policies，and the strategic aspects of foreign relations interaction are worthy of in-depth observation.
