The implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership（RCEP），and a series of strategic projects such as the construction of China（Guangxi）and China（Yunnan）Pilot Free Trade Zone，and the new western land-sea corridor，have put forward new requirements for the development and talent training of China’s ASEAN language service industry. This paper reviews the development environment and language background of ASEAN language service industry. Based on detailed data，this paper reports the scale and development potential of the overall language service industry in Guangxi and Yunnan，and then focuses on the ASEAN language service. In-depth analysis is made on their industrial development potential，industrial scale，number of enterprises，number of employees，enterprise scale，enterprise distribution characteristics，enterprise core formats，industry development trends and opportunities. And based on the supply and demand index of national ASEAN language service talents，the paper elaborates the current situation of the training of ASEAN language talents in China，and verifies its economic return by gravity models. Based on the research results，this report proposes suggestions such as strengthen policy supports for ASEAN language service industry and build a high-quality international business environment，actively expand the export capacity of language service enterprises and accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises，optimize the ecology of talents’ “introduction，education and retention” and build the China-ASEAN language service talent center to enhance China’s overall ASEAN language service capability.
