In 2023，Beijing focused on promoting the recruitment of international organizations，mainly completing the settlement of the BRI International Green Development Coalition，International Coalition of Intelligent Manufacturing，the International Organization for Mesoscience，and the World Association for Performing Arts，bringing the number of various types of international organizations registered in Beijing to 115，which continues to rank first in China；and creating the first headquarters cluster of international science and technology organizations in the country. During this year，Beijing has made efforts in the areas of policy refinement and implementation，environment optimization and upgrading，and carried out many fruitful as well as positive practices. For some time to come，the function construction of Beijing’s International Exchange Center still needs to continue to work hard on attracting international organizations with international influence and standardizing services for international organizations in Beijing. Beijing can try to form the characteristics of the types of international organizations in Beijing，expand the clustering effect of international organizations，establish larger-scale international organization cluster area，and tap the scale effect of the international organizations in Beijing to give full play to their role as the “bread of the city”. Beijing also needs to explore the establishment of institutions specialized in the management and service of international organizations，build up a multilevel international organization talent team，and make greater progress in the settlement and operation of Beijing’s international organizations.
