The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is the core area for the inheritance and development of Lingnan culture，and Guangdong，Hong Kong，and Macao also attach great importance to the inheritance，innovation，and development of Lingnan culture and art. However，problems such as difficulty in obtaining cultural resources and the lack of interest in traditional Lingnan art among young people cannot be ignored. Taking the promotion and development of Lingnan Painting School as an example，this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of inheriting Lingnan art and promoting Lingnan culture in Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao’s Greater Bay Area，and draws on the successful experiences of France，the United States and other advanced countries in inheriting and promoting local traditional culture and art，and puts forward several suggestions for further inheriting Lingnan art and promoting Lingnan culture in the Greater Bay Area in terms of strengthening cultural and art exchanges among the three places，establishing support funds，improving the construction of cultural and art education facilities，and promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism.
