湛江建成广东省域副中心，是落实广东省委实施区域协调发展战略的重大决策，是要在“十四五”期间基本实现的奋斗目标。这个目标能否如期实现，备受关注。本文从阐述湛江建设省域副中心的重要意义切入，客观分析了湛江建设省域副中心的主要有利条件及主要短板，并结合实施粤港澳大湾区战略背景，提出了抢抓机遇，借势发展，加快建设省域副中心的思路与对策。
The establishment of Zhanjiang as the Guangdong Provincial Sub-center is a major decision made by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee to implement the regional coordinated development strategy and a goal to be basically achieved during the 14th Five-Year Plan. Whether this goal can be achieved as scheduled is of great concern. This article starts from explaining the significance of Zhanjiang’s construction of the provincial sub-center，objectively analyzes the main advantages and main shortcomings of Zhanjiang’s construction of the provincial sub-center，combines the implementation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area strategy background，and proposes the ideas and countermeasures for seizing the oppoturnity and for accelerating the construction of provincial sub-centers.
