Persisting in promoting the high-quality development of the real economy with manufacturing as the mainstay is of great significance to the construction of an internationally first-class bay area in Guangdong，Hong Kong，and Macao. This paper adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to analyze the current development status and characteristics of strategic emerging manufacturing industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area，as well as the difficulties and challenges in using industrial policies and technology strategies to support the development of strategic emerging industries in the Greater Bay Area. It proposes that，in the new stage of development，it is urgent to take multiple measures and pilot initiatives to build a high-quality development system for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area economy，explore the modernization of the modern industrial governance system，and drive breakthrough innovation in industries through digital transformation. This will jointly promote the high-end，intelligent，and green development of strategic emerging manufacturing industries and provide strong support for building a “smart manufacturing” Greater Bay Area with strong international competitiveness.
