In 2022，the domestic political situation of the Armenia remained basically stable. The presidential election was held smoothly，and the candidate elected by the ruling authorities were successfully elected. The Pachynyan government consolidates its power by promoting reforms in administrative，judicial，military，and other fields. The opposition used the Nagorno-Karabakh Issue to organize months of protests and demonstrations，but failed to shake the ruling party’s position. In the economic field，stimulated by factors such as Russian capital and personnel inflows，Armenian economy has reached a new high since the past 15 years. However，due to challenges such as intensified inflation，low levels of agricultural development，and a harsh geopolitical environment，there is uncertainty in the prospects of economic development. In the field of security，Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to exchange fire in Nagorno-Karabakh and the border areas of the two countries，and engage in fierce competition around the Zangzur Corridor issue. In terms of foreign cooperation，Armenia actively strengthens relations with the West while maintaining close cooperation with Russia；the normalization process of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has been promoted；and the relations with Iran and Georgia are also steadily advancing. Significant progress has been made in 30 years of cooperation between China and Armennia，and there is great potential for future cooperation in the construction of the Digital Silk Road between the two sides.
